Yes, it works great on modern Android phones and tablets – just download the app from tab at the top of this page.

Keep in mind, this uses a tremendous amount of data, if you use it a lot you will go over your plan amount.  Be careful how much you use.

Also, while traveling, the data signal from the cellular towers will vary greatly by your location.  As always, good internet service is the key to our service working properly.

The trial is 36 hours from the time we give you the username and password.  The clock runs weather you use it or not.  So please install the trial when you recieve the credentials.

Yes, some of the premium sports channels are not included in the free trial.  They are included with the paid subscription.

Just close the APP and reopen.  That should update the expiration date

A quality internet connection is required.  This service is typically delivered by your local cable company.  So far, our customers have reported disappointing results when using any of the new Satellite Internet Services.  Download speed is the key.  We need at least 20MBPS of download bandwidth to work properly.  Upload speed does not matter.  20mbps for each device.  More is always better.  The only way to know is to run a test.

Open the Mavbox App and go to settings.  Find the speed test and click begin

A reboot of your modem, router and firestick or tv box always helps.  Also delete any memory in the firestick to make way for new data.

Connectivity Questions

The Amazon Fire TV devices are a great value. About 97% of our customers use them.  The rest use Android TV boxes or Android tablets.

You can buy a Firestick at most any electronics store or from Amazon.com.  Cost between $39 and $79.  Do not buy the cheap “LITE” version.

You can buy a good quality Android box for about $50 from Amazon.com   As long as the RAM is 4G or higher and the ROM is 32G or higher it should work fine.

No Less the 20MBPS download speed per device.

Open the Mavbox App and go to settings in the upper right corner.  Then choose speed test and run the test.

You can if you want to.

We don’t publish a list because we have over 9000 channels and they are always changing.

We literally have almost every channel you can name. Every sports channel, movie channel, and we have local network channels from around the USA and Canada. We ask that you do the free trial and see for yourself.  Make sure it’s everything you want before you spend a penny.  Fair enough?

You must first run the speed test, located under settings to ensure you have over 20mbps of download speed.  This will vary by time of day and neighborhood load on the system.  Please test when buffering occurs.

First, please reboot your hardware.  This will fix most issues.  To reboot, unplug power to your cable modem and router.  Also unplug power to your Firestick or android TV box.  Let it stay unplugged for three full minutes.  Then plug in modem first….wait for all lights to come on.  Then plug in the router (if you have one) Once all lights are on solid, plug in the FireStick.  Now try.

If you still have buffering on a majority of channels, first do a speed test as outlined above.  If you don’t have least 20mbps then call your internet company and figure out how you can get more speed.  Its often seen people paying for 200mpbs yet they are only getting 10mbps.  Work with your cable company to get the speed you are paying for.

Is it a Mavbox network issue or my network issues?  Easy answer is – If the buffering is happening on all channels, its a problem on your end.  If buffering is happening on one or two channels, its probably on our end and we would appreciate it if you would report it to us.
